While we admittedly intended to go to the new sushi restaurant across the aisle, when it was full for several hours we decided to opt for the Cheesecake Factory instead. We ended up quite happy with the change in venue, as we also discovered a great Happy Hour while waiting for our table and enjoyed great service and recommendations from Brooke after we were seated.

While waiting for our friends and our table, together we were able to sample 3 different Happy Hour drinks: Long Island Iced Tea, Margarita & Whiskey Smash (see pictures of each below). The drinks not only were great tasting – but at Happy Hour pricing, they were also a great Value!

After being seated, first up was the table bread (see picture) and I really liked both the dark and light breads in the basket. For our main meals, my wife ordered the Chicken Piccata (see picture) and I opted for the Lemon Garlic Shrimp (see picture) from the 590 Calories or Less menu. As always, we shared samples of each and while I liked both of them a lot, the richer, creamier texture of the Chicken Piccata definitely stood out above the Lemon Garlic Shrimp. Funny how extra calories always come with rich, creamy tasting food…
